The Indian government has just released a report outlining the destruction of the famed landmark to make way for a new pipeline. The massive project is slated to begining in July of 2019 as the pipeline will carry fresh water from the foothills of the Himalayas to the drought stricken areas of the south. When asked for comment, Sandy Young, CEO of WaterWays inc., said "This will bring a much needed resource to the south of India and generate enormous wealth for the shareholders of WaterWays inc."
A spokesman for WaterWays inc. stated that a plaque dedicated to the memory of the Taj Mahal will be erected on the site.
