PLATTSBURGH- Bernie Sanders made a surprise announcement during his "Get Out the Vote" speech at the Clare and Carl's ballroom. Not only is he running again for president in 2020, but he has selected his running mate, Tom Wood. He feels that this will balance out the ticket, as Bernie was born in southern New York state and Wood is from one of the northernmost towns in New York. Wood, a relative unknown, is considered a Washington outsider as he has no criminal record or record of corruption. Wood took the opportunity to warn the populace that the website BreakingNews247.net is a prank site.
