Many retired and active clowns have taken residence in Broad Ripple, Indiana. The clowns, who prefer to wear full make-up all day long, walk their dogs and meet neighbors daily. “At first, I was terrified but now that I’ve met some of these clowns I cannot not wait to introduce them to my group of peers.” Said Andrew Shank, a Broad Ripple residence. “We’ve booked them as the entertainment at the SoBro Brew Fest this year! I’ve been this stoked since the Dave Matthews concert!” - Erin Wolpert. The clowns had no comment except a honk of a horn when contacted by this reporter.
