It was a warm July evening on the bellisle in Jenkins Cove when fisherman Sam McKay hooked onto the biggest Sam was fishing for perch when he hook catch of his life. he into the massive Beast a killer whale with a 8 lb mono line he almost had it to the boat when the line snapped and then the Killer Whales swim off towards Kingston Creek just beware that there are killer whales in the river.
Sam says he usually only catches 4 to 5 inch perch or sometimes heels are Pickerel and Jenkins Cove but this was a treat of the lifetime.
