Forest Hills, NY - Residents of the quiet Queens neighborhood are taking to Social Media to express their gripes and concerns about there being nothing left to gripe or be concerned about.
"We used to have plenty to complain about in this neighborhood, but now everything is changing." says longtime Forest Hills resident Doug Whiner, "We could complain about the police parking by the 112pct stationhouse, Spectrum cable, Traffic Enforcement Agents enforcing parking regulations, not having any restaurants in the neighborhood that we like, stray cats, bike lanes, the color of traffic lights, murals, ambulances double parking while assisting patients, almond milk, young children, young children laughing, young children crying, soup, car washes, recycled paper and that loud rock and roll music coming from the stadium. But now we feel like that we are all complained out and no one is listening to us."
Forest Hills is known for its low crime rate, high property values, abundance of shopping and restaurants, variety of great schools and overall good quality of life, as well as several residents who complain relentlessly about nonsense.
We asked Jon Reyan, a resident of East New York who passes through Forest Hills on his way home from work everyday, what he thought about local FoHi resident's various complaints, to which he replied , "Are they f?!@?? kidding me"?
