A last minute change in plans is bringing The Drifter @iameliasWWE to Hillsboro, IL to open for The Open Road Band at the Hillsboro Summer Concert Series on Saturday, September 1st. "After The Goodtime Engineers canceled in us, I called everyone I could think of," Imagine Hillsboro's Zach Wygal said. "The Drifter finally called me back last week, said he was going to be passing through town - of course - promoting his new EP, and thought it would be incredibly poetic if he were to play before The Open Road Band. Knowing [Chris] Sherer is a total wresting mark, I recycled all of my beer cans and came up with the $75 it took to book Elias."
"WWE: Walk With Elias" is an extended play released in July 2018 by WWE Music Group. Elias (Jeff Sciullo) performs all of his songs in the WWE character of a guitar-playing drifter. The album reached number 13 on the Top 100 US albums on iTunes in the first day of release.
Wygal added, "If I can get Elias to play the summer concert series, wait until Fandango and the Disco Inferno show up at Stamp Out Cancer!"
