Kruger frequently ate his pork and beans out of a can with a spoon or a fork on a regular basis leading to him having loose stool and severe bloating and gas. They uncomfortability that he felt made him very angry at the world. This set the form for only what was inevitable in his future being an angry man already then having the locals burn him to death only contribute to his behavior. Besides everybody knows you are what you eat, and nobody likes burnt baked pork and beans.
