Due to the cruel, partisan, and diverse nature of the Supreme Court nominee hearings, Congress has voted to have the Catholic Church and the Pope choose all future Supreme Court Justices based on the same criteria they currently use to canonize saints. The nominee must, be dead at least 5 years and have 3 confirmed miracles. Of course the congress will disagree on what constitutes a miracle and how long they have been dead, but this would be less painful than what they go through now.
