Roma Riley Smith former pupil at a catholic school was “planning a special night” she says in a interview she also said “I needed money , I didn’t have any so I just took them”.
CCTV caught Miss Riley getting the items and shoving them in her pockets seconds before she had walked out .
As the shop owner later reviews the CCTV footage they call the local police and locate Riley . They knock on the door and Riley’s mum answers and police have a chat and get the item back that Riley had stolen luckily not opened .
Riley has had similar charges in the past . In 2016 March 13th she had stolen a pair of underwear and refused to give them back , her mum later paid for the item and the charge was disregarded.
The interview was incredibly awkward.
