Archeologists have announced recent discoveries lead many colleagues to believe the now famous cave paintings discovered in caves near Chauvet, France were the work of Transgender Neanderthal Women. Through recent breakthroughs in materials analysis, scientists were able to match shades of ochre used in the highly detailed cave paintings to exact matches of ochre residue discovered in graves of Neanderthal males buried in traditional female Neanderthal clothing. Also present in the ancient burials was the pollen of wildflowers, indicating either a ritual burial or simply a fondness in life for pretty things.
