Building work behind the BMX track in Melba has been revealed to be part of a new luxury hotel to service the Belconnen region.
The Atarax group, who were behind the New Action development had funded the building.
"Melba Hotel will bring a fresh new look to Belconnen, taking advantage of Gininderra Creek views and local amenities" stated the Atarax press release.
The hotel will open in early 2019 and will feature 120 rooms, a rooftop infinity pool and a commercial gym.
