Back in 2012, Elizabeth O'Neil was just 13 years old when she endured a 9 hour operation on her spine. The surgery was a spinal fusion in order to correct her scoliosis, the scoliosis that had made her spine look like it was in the shape of an S. After having two rods and many pins put in to fuse her spine back to a normal shape, she was hopefully for a new life of no pain after her recovery, but that was not the case. Now, 8 years later, the once young teen is now 20 years old and is still enduring back pain, wondering what had gone wrong.
