A man has been arrested and remanded in custody after what appears to have been a spate of lewd acts and public indecency. David McCormack appeared in Ennis District Court after being charged with performing what seemed to be intercourse with a number of animals in the post office field. Officers at the scene explained onlookers were horrified to what they saw when looking across the river to see the man in question in just a t-shirt choking a Swan while trying to penetrate it... Gardai said the man in question was clearly intoxicated and unaware of his surroundings when arrested... Judge Gérard keys remanded the man in custody to appear before court again on the 5/5/19 Stating that he could not sleep at night knowing this man was a serious threat to wildlife in the area.
