(CNN) — Reports are coming in the the White House has been placed on lockdown following a shooting. According to unconfirmed reports, shots were fired on the West Wing of the White House on Monday evening. Reports indicate that President Trump was among those wounded by the gunman and immediately taken away by Secret Service agents for immediate medical attention. Secret service subsequently took the gunman down are placed him into custody. The identity of the gunman has not been released.
The condition of the President is not currently known at this time.
