Sizzle/Koi became a disaster scene this Saturday morning around 3:20 am after a violent fight erupted which resulted in the death of 16 year-old, Isaac Patton of Stoney Creek (permission to release name granted).
At approximately 3:22 am, a fight broke out in front of Sizzle/Koi, a popular bar in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Two teenagers, heavily intoxicated, began shouting slurs at patrons of the bar. This prompted three adult men to confront the boys. After a brief scuffle, one of the men brandished a pistol and shot Isaac three times in the upper chest. He was pronounced dead on scene. The suspect, 31 year-old José Henriquez, was arrested shortly after fleeing the scene. José is being held on second-degree murder charges and could be facing upwards of 25 years.
The family of Isaac Patton wishes for the public to remember their son through the goodness that he spread.
