Madison Agostini always had a passion for art beyond pursuing her elementary education degree at Rowan University. Aside from her coursework and activities, she was up to something very big.

"I always enjoyed writing and illustrating, but I never thought it would be good enough for an opportunity like this," Agostini says, "now here I am doing something I never thought I could accomplish."

Agostini landed a deal with Jones Publishing, a firm in New York City, this weekend. She gained lots of attention for her artwork though her media accounts and was approached by the company via a Twitter direct message.

"Social media is one of the most crucial ways to find talented writers and illustrators. We make sure to find genuine talent that should not go unnoticed, and most of that talent is seen on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc." says executive president of Jones Publishing.

Agostini's illustrating work will be found in a children's book series called Jack and Amy's Time Machine. The first picture book will debut in May 2020. The books will be about a young girl who time travels, and will teach children about crucial events in history.
