Despite the backlash from locals after Piezoni’s and the new Pizza kitchen at the Old West Central Street plaza, officials hint that another will open in the Franklin Village Plaza.
The name of the restaurant is unannounced, but it is rumored that it is indeed more pizza, moving into space on the western side where Froyoworld previously resided. After the popular yogurt lounge was shut down at the end of August, many customers were left puzzled as they pulled into the parking lot. Allison Clark, owner of the Froyoworld location and partial shareholder of Rock N’ Coal Pizza and Sports Bar in Bellingham and Millis, was just as surprised at the closing as we were. “This was kind of sudden to me and we don’t have any immediate plans at the moment,” she said. “We’ll see how things play out.”
