A group of Men assumed to be Local Travellers from Co. Offaly have been accused of Armed Robbery in the Local Post Office. One of the attackers was wielding a Rambo Style Butcher Knife and another had a dangerous Firearm. One of several eye witnesses have come forward with eye witnesses statements and have accused Local man John 'Chap's John' Mcdonagh with organising this deadly and sickening attack. 'He couldn't have came at a better time' claims an Eye Witness who prefers to remain anonymous. 'I was in looking for my double Christmas Payment when Chap's John and his gang came in and threw us to the ground and took the few penny's in our pocket, All I can say is they must be really stuck for Christmas'.
