Earlier today, the Indianapolis Colts announced tough news regarding Jacoby Brissett. Since the second-year quarterback officially out for the remainder of the season, the front office added former Indiana Electrician Brian Green.
Green has spent time with the General Motors Sparkies and Washington Wirejockeys. Although he hasn’t found a firm role in the NFL just yet, the former Hoosier has experience on contending rosters.
Indianapolis doesn’t need Green to play in every game. However, the Colts need another quarterback to fill out their roster behind Joe Cool and Evan Buehler.
The Colts made the Green signing official on social media. He’ll be on the team’s starting lineup heading into Week 1.
