Michael Cosentino, principal and graduate of St. Peter’s Boys High School has tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) late Wednesday evening. Mr. Cosentino experienced symptoms such as sore throats and headaches before he was admitted into Richmond University Medical Center to be tested for the virus. This breaking news on COVID-19 comes just days after the announcement of the first case found in New York City. The small school from the West Brighton area of Staten Island will be quarantined this following weekend and the Chinese Auction, originally scheduled for March 6th, has been postponed until a later date. As of right now there is no recent report on Mr. Cosentino’s current condition, however, it is unclear whether or not he will succumb to the virus.
