LAKE ODESSA—A 25 year-old Lake Odessa man was arrested Tuesday, March 31st on charges of second-degree assault and battery charges.
The arrest of Christopher Michael Egusquiza stemmed from incidents in Lake Odessa, according to the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office.
Egusquiza and his girlfriend Brittney Dillon, allegedly went to the gas station around 10:30 PM. According to witnesses, Egusquiza got into a shouting match with another man which had then escalated.
A witness report states that after the man said something to Egusquiza, he began to assault the man.
Ionia County Sheriffs Office will not release any further information at this time.
