In a stunning development, Santa Claus, the jolly old man who delivers gifts to children on Christmas, has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and has been transported to the intensive care unit at a hospital in Reykjavik, Iceland. He was airlifted there by his sleigh earlier this afternoon.
“I’m in total shock, he had shown no symptoms at all,” said Mrs. Claus, in a phone call with our reporters. She has shown no symptoms and is expected to self-quarantine for 14 days.
