Lion Den is a private TV series available on sky premium. The show has been around for 11 years and is similar to the soaps such as Emmerdale and Eastenders.
For the past 3 years, rapper and songwriter Lil $moke, known by real name as Preston Hopper, played a character caller Liam Banket.
Liam started as a 12-year-old troubled kid. His biggest scenes were his rape storyline. Within his first year on the show he had raped best friends and villige pretty girl Ellie Rose. He was sentenced to a detention centre for 10 months until he made his return to the villige in 2019.
He came back trying to make amends with Ellie and when in a house alone together she paniced and ran for the door. He stopped her and threw her back accidentally making her hit her head off the kitchen table. She later died in hospital and Liam realised he was a murderer.
He kept things quiet and after a week went to run away but as he was grabbing his passport Ellie's dad "Gray Rose" questioned him. Liam started to panic as Gray started to get more and more suspicious of him and when Gray turned his back to pour a glass of water, Liam hit him over the head with a chopping board leaving him for dead.
Liam went 4 months carrying on with life as normal with no one suspecting anything. Until he bumped into villige hardman Ian Rites, Liam looked at him and told him to move out the way so he could go home but Ian looked at him and said "I know what your are, you rapist!" Liam walked away and went home. Ian Rites has been the villige hardman in the show for 9 years. The longest remaining character in the shows 11 year history. But after so long in the villige, it came to an end once Liam went back out in the night with a knife and stabbed Ian.
1 month ago, Liam went to a house party and went upstairs with a random girl. She changed her mind and as she tried leaving he kept pushing her on the bed and desperately kept forcing himself on her. She ran for the door and he tripped her up. He beat her to the pulp and left her to die and slipped downstairs without anyone knowing. Well at least he thought no one knew.
This week was finally the end of the young serial killer's reign. He killed the oldest and most iconic character in history, he killed the villige pretty girl but he wasn't good enough to get away free handed.
Yesterday's episode ended with Liam walking into the pub with a gun hid in his pocket for protection but when he went in everyone starred at him. Then pub owner Harry Law showed Liam a video that someone took of him going upstairs with the girl at the party. Liam freaked and pulled a gun out and told everyone to stand still. The police had already been called and it was game over for Liam.
Armed police came in and said they'd shoot if he moves. Liam looked at his mother Shelly and said "I'll see you in hell" Liam dived towards the officers and was shot dead.
This was one of if not the best storyline in Lion Den history. Although Liam was only 15 and had a short time in the show he was one hell of a character. The youngest soap killers have been Lachaln White from emmerdale (18 years old) and Hunter Owen from Eastenders (17 years old) but now Lion Den has the youngest serial killer Liam Banket.
Credit to rapper and songwriter Lil $moke who played the character. He was such a talent not just in music but now in acting. He played the psychotic character so well and made the storyline so interesting to watch.
It's the end of Liam Banket after being shot dead by armed police but it isn't the end of Lil $moke. He will release more music and he will be acting in more programs and films
