It has been approved by professionals that one sided love are unhealthy especially if it becomes an obsession.
One Sided Love (also known as crush) is JUST a distraction, obsession, and admiration for someone.
There are still times that crushes are good for example your crush inspires you to study, to love yourself and to be a good person. But sometimes it goes the other way. For example when you become too obsessed with your crush you may be distracted from your study and if your crush is not interested in you, your confidence might go low and you'll end up being depressed and having low self-esteem and sometimes if you become VERY VERY VERY MUCH OBSESSED with your crush, you could also hurt people from jealousy.
I have interviewed some teenagers and asked them the meaning of crush for them and some said having a crush on someone is admiring someone and some teenagers also said that crushes are just distractions. But for me, I think having a crush is just an unhealthy obsession.
A lot of people are really curious about how crushes started and who invented it.
The one who invented crush is very cruel I would say because not everyone have happy endings.
