AMARILLO, TX. (KFDA NEWS) – Authorities in Amarillo are searching for a 47 year-old woman who left several local restaurants without paying her bill.
According to an incident report from the Amarillo Police Department, officers responded to Torchies Tacos on Soncy yesterday evening, in reference to several people who had left the restaurant, and one woman - "Karen" without paying a substantial portion of her bill.
The report states five women and a man ordered food and alcohol totaling $577, but left the business after only leaving $25 in cash on the table. However, several of the diners left their credit card information but "Karen". She was said to have ordered several hundred dollars worth of alchoholic beverages.
This is not the first time that Amarillo Police Department recieved information in regards to the Dine and Ditch Karen, as they are calling her. Apparently, she has been frequenting local restaurants and drinking heavily, and then ditching.
