KANE COUNTY, Illinois (KGTV) -- A man won more than five hundred and forty five thousand dollars after playing a penny slot at The Hollywood Casino in downtown Aurora Monday night.
The man, identified as Jacob Mannikko, was playing the IGT Wheel of Fortune Ultra Wheels penny slot when he hit it big, according to the casino.
“I’m still in shock. I couldn’t sleep all night. I was up tossing and turning and thought they would call me and say the machine malfunctioned,” Jacob said.
Jacob says he plans to invest the majority of the money for his future but also plans to purchase many of his friends and family gifts to help celebrate his huge win.
The win comes just weeks before the casino plans to open its $50 million expansion.
