A local Chicago teen was taken into custody by law enforcement at the Chicago Wolves game on December 22, 2019 in Rosemont, IL after he had begun to verbally harass goaltender Garret Sparks, who was recently traded to the Las Vegas Golden Knights and assigned the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. The teen had shouted a number of profanities at Sparks and had attempted to distract him at multiple points throughout the game.
