Despite hopes that the pandemic would be under control by the time the 33rd Adjuster Games commenced on September 15th, 2020, organizers have now officially pulled the plug on the event. Set to take place in beautiful Mermaid, PEI this year it is the first time in its history that the Games have been cancelled. PEI medal hopes again this year had rested largely on the shoulders of cattle sprinter, adjuster Richard Arsenault who took gold last year in the 200, 500 & 1000 metre cattle sprints. When reached for comment Mr. Arsenault expressed his disappointment in the Game's cancellation noting that he had just bought new sequined bib shorts for the event that were now "going to be wasted!" When we reached his cow for comment about the cancellation we received a short concise "Whew!".
