On Thursday 20th, Nicolas Navarro was help up by 3 police officers in a coffee shop in downtown Los Angeles. According to police, Mr. Navarro matched the description of a man who is suspected of an assault that occurred earlier in the morning near the coffee shop. Witnesses said that Mr. Navarro resisted arrest at first but eventually cooperated with the officers. He was handcuffed and escorted to the back of the police cruiser. Police interrogated Mr. Navarro about his whereabouts earlier in the day, he then requested a lawyer and said nothing. The victim of the supposed assault was brought in to identify the suspect. They concluded that Mr. Navarro wasn’t the perpetrator and was released a few moments later.
