AUSTIN TX- During Governor Greg Abbott’s press briefing Friday afternoon. He talked about school needing to shut down if cases of COVID-19 in Texas do not see a dramatic change. He goes on to say “We will see cases in Texas school, if the right procedures are not followed”. He say if there is not a change in the next few weeks he will sign an executive order like the one he said back in the spring to keep all children home from school. He goes on to say, school in Texas will go virtual until September 15, 2020 that will go into effect immediately due to the Governor’s recent executive order signed on Friday August 28th to give more time to created better environment for safety returning to schools.
