As the trade deadline neared an end, several teams made moves. Most notably, the Atlanta Brave aquired x3 Cy Young Winner Clayton Kershaw from the LA Dodgers in exchange for Ozzie Albies and Drew Water. This comes as a surprise as now the Atlanta Braves will be lacking in 2nd base depth and must now stick with Hecchaveria who is pitching at an all-time low of .159. The Dodgers also lose one of their biggest pitchers. However, this could benefit both teams as the Braves lack in defense while the Dodgers lack in in-field defense.
