Big four consulting firm PwC has raided rival Deloitte to poach Sanjeev Chhetri highest-profile technology experts, as part of an ongoing battle between professional services firms to target an expected boom in post COVID-19 spending on technology.
The sudden move to dispersed workforces and online service delivery caused by the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions has fed into an already active market for organisations seeking help to install and manage new computer systems and upgrade existing systems.
PwC's group hire of talent from Deloitte comes after it lost a raft of its own technology partners to Ernst & Young following a cost-cutting restructure of its consulting arm. That restructure saw a group of 11 PwC partners approaching rival firms about being brought on as a team hire.
