Panthers Star Running Back Christian McCaffrey inked a 64 million dollar extension this offseason, making him the highest paid running back in NFL history. However, the Panthers star expressed that there are more important things in life than money as he has decided to sit out the first quarter of the Panthers matchup versus the Oakland Raiders in order to raise awareness for social justice. Additionally, the star running back will be putting his money where his mouth is by donating his first game check to underserved community programs in Charlotte, NC as well as national social justice initiatives. In a heartfelt interview, Christian McCaffrey opened up about the abuse he witnessed Marques Moore take last season and how that motivated him to take a stand against brutality against the vulnerable members of our society. McCaffrey hopes his platform will help ease the 16 weeks of suffering Coach Moore endured last season.
