As a wrap-up to the 2020 golf season the final Ryder Cup matches were held yesterday at Fox Meadow Golf Course. Unfortunately for Team Parkman they were up against a juggernaut in Team Driscoll who rolled over them easily with a final match score which cannot be published due to cyber-bullying rules. Team Parkman appeared overly confident going in to play with some team members posing for photos before the match as seen in the attached picture. In a huge tactical error team captain Lowell Parkman had ordered lace golf outfits for his team which appeared to be a strange apparel choice for the late October chilly weather. When asked for comment Mr. Parkman, or "Sleepy Lowell" as some team members now call him, stated " Boys they said it was going to be sunny and 16 degrees!!". It was the opening matches which set the early tone . Team Parkman's Phil Duffy was cruising 3 up with 3 holes to play but lost the remaining 3 holes to square his head-to-head match and this seemed to take the air out of Team Parkman. A domino effect ensued with the Team Parkman members' remaining matches falling apart quicker than a Jack's donair. Despite the loss, team captain Parkman stated his team would be back next year to challenge...and then he went home to nap.
