BREAKING NEWS

Riley Jellybelly, who is Kris Kringle’s lead elf gave the following statement to the Associated Press:

Like numerous countries around the globe, the North Pole has been affected by COVID-19. This is our busiest time of year and right now almost half of our elf power has contracted COVID. Thank goodness none of the elves have become tragically ill! We are fortunate to be experiencing only mild symptoms and all are expected to make a full recovery! However, with so many elves in quarantine, toy production at Santa’s Workshop has been cut by 87.3 percent. Things have really slowed down and there have been moments when we have struggled to keep the Workshop open and running! It has been a very trying time for Santa and all of the Elves in the North Pole!

What does this mean for Christmas?

Parents and children need to be aware that Christmas will be a lot smaller this year and in some places, Santa’s arrival may even be delayed for several weeks! As much as we want to, we just cannot keep up with the amount of toys we need to make this time of year.

Santa wants to encourage everyone not to be too disappointed. He is asking you to remember the true meaning of Christmas and to use this time to create new and fun family traditions that will be carried on for decades!
