An incident in Mahopac, NY, occurred and ended with a warrant being issued for the arrest of a Garrison woman.
According to a Mahopac Police report, Jessica A. James, 23, of 436 Sprout Brook Rd., Garrison, was involved in an assault at a Mahopac Bar. The Unidentified Victim states the suspect, Ms. James, ordered numerous drinks at the bar. The victim states Ms. James was upset with the amount of liquor one of her drink and stated "what is this shit." Ms. James then became aggressive with the bartender. The bartender states when she told Ms. James to calm her ass down, Ms. James lunged over the bar and began using her choke on her. Ms. James then ran out the door and sped off in a white Honda Civic. The bartender didn't sustain any injuries.
Ms. James is charged with Felony choking. A warrant was issued and Ms. James must appear in The Village Court of Mahopac on Jan. 13, 2020.
