Völlig Überraschend hat der Europäische Kontinentalverband am Abend die Rumänische Fußballfunktionärin Ana Anuțza freigestellt. Wie die Sprecherin Stepanuk bestätigt hat, wurde die Rumänin auf Grund eines Korruptionsverdacht freigestellt. Außerdem soll die Rumänin auch an dem Anschlag auf den Südamerikanischen Verband mit verantwortlich sein. Präsidentin Popova hat laut Angaben der Sprecherin auch Interne Ermittlungen gestartet.
