DUBAI// An intoxicated man from the Czech Republic was arrested on suspicion of being drunk, disorderly and violent disorder.
Police were called to Night Club Dubai just after 4.00am this morning (Saturday 24 December) after a couple from the Czech Republic didn’t want to leave the nightclub at closing time. A security guard or guards escorted them outside.
When a policeman tried to remove the couple from the nightclub, the drunk man swore at the officer, then resisted arrest by tearing his uniform and wrecking his taser gun. He has been released on police bail as the investigation continues. His girlfriend was not arrested.
