Orlando Florida - A man was arrested Sunday after police say he stabbed his ex-girlfriend multiple times.
Police were dispatched to a house in west Orlando around 12:42 p.m., upon reports of an armed disturbance.
When they arrived, responding officers found a 20 year old woman with multiple stab wounds. The woman, who lives at the home, was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The woman told police her ex-boyfriend knocked on her door and shortly after he answered, he began stabbing her.
Police say the man was not at scene when they arrived, but officers later located him a few hours later.
According to police, the man faces attempted first-degree murder charges and aggravated burglary charges.
