Hakim Ziyech, the moroccan who joined from Ajax to Chelsea in February could be facing 6 months out with an anterior cruciate ligament damage the club reported. It is been said that he has sustained this injury while trying to dispose fellow winger Callum Hudson-Odoi of the ball.
Hakim Ziyech will now have surgery on his knee in the coming days meaning he will most likely miss the first half of the 2020/21 season.
The blues have been linked with Brentford Winger Said Benrahma which could be a short term replacement for Hakim Ziyech. He has been crucial to his team’s performance since the restart but just fell short at the last hurdle to the hands of Fulham in Championship Play-Off final.
