Local teen Kristofer Dowell returned home early Thursday October 27. Kristofer was wqe kidnapper from Tippecanoe Mall when Crack heads confused the young man for T.V. star Ellen Degeneres. Kris was held captive for multiple days in the basement of an Antique shop in West Lafayette. Kristofer is glad to be home and said " I'm not really surprised I was confused for Ellen after all it was the look I was going for ." Kristofer continue to say "I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often considering we look at exactly alike.". We are just Kris is back with his family .
