Police: Woman charged after attacking ex-boyfriend and climbing through window

SALISBURY, MD ( The Dailey Times of Salisbury ) - A Salisbury woman was charged after police found her climbing out a window at the home of her child's father.

According to the police report, Lucero "Luz" Galvez, 20, of Brown Street, had been arguing with the man earlier in the day on Tuesday and had confronted him at his house.

Later, police say Galvez followed the man as he was walking back from the store. Galvez confronted the man again, this time physically, ripping his shirt, punching him in the face, and scratching his arm with her fingernails.


Later still, police say Galvez tried to break into the house where the man was staying. When officers arrived they found Galvez in the window.

Galvez was arrested and placed in a patrol car to be taken to the WicomicoOffice, but according to officers, she managed to slip her cuffed hands from her back, under her feet and legs to the front of her body, then tried to open the rear cage window.

Police then added a "foot hobble" and reconfigured the handcuffs.

Galvez was charged with resisting police, breaking and entering, and simple assault.

Galvez is being held at the Wicomico County detention center.
