Girdle Toll man Thomas Burns can home after being at the pub to find his dinner was burnt and got in to an altercation with his wife Michele Burns. He said to his wife that he was sick of his dinner being burnt all the time and she could burn a salad at which time the police turned up and charged Mr Burns with Breach of the Peace to which he replied how would you like to come home to a burnt offering every night. Mr Burns made no plea or declaration and was given bail. Judge Russell said he sypathised with him.
