After performing at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on the 27th of October, 107.5 KXTE's Alex Timmerson caught up with the successful band to ask a few prodding questions.

Alex Timmerson: So, how has the last year been in terms of shows, music, and preparation for the future?

Dan Reynolds: Well, the last year, at least for me, has been a wild ride. So much has happened, I've been able to spend time with my beautiful wife Aja and my incredible little girl Arrow. They're the loves of my life, so every moment with them is precious. As far as music goes, we have been laying low, releasing a few tracks here and there, but nothing special.

Alex Timmerson: That's great to hear. How about the other guys, what about you?

Wayne Sermon: I personally have been doing the same as Dan, spending time with my wife and two sons. It's amazing to watch them grow up.

Daniel Platzman: Food, fun, and friends. That's what I usually tell people when they ask me what I've been up to!

Ben McKee: Recently I got a beagle we named Sammich that I have had the pleasure of raising for the past couple of months. We're a little obsessed with her to be quite honest, we even created an Instagram account for her.

Alex Timmerson: Awesome to hear you've all been enjoying your time off. Now...I know you don't like hearing this question, but are there currently any plans in the works for your third studio album?

Dan Reynolds (laughing): Yeah, yeah, there actually are some big plans in the works for some new music. Our fans, especially on Twitter, have been getting pretty anxious and even feisty about new music.

Ben McKee: Now, don't tell anyone, but we actually collaborated with The Chainsmokers for a single that is going to be released pretty soon.

Daniel Platzman: But we still haven't decided if that'll go on the album yet. It's all up to producers and stuff like that.

Alex Timmerson: Is there anything your fans should know about album 3...dates, music, tour?

Dan Reynolds: We're known as a pretty secretive band, but I can tell you this: album 3 is going to be insane. Like nothing we've ever done before. Music will be different with lots of changes, but I'm absolutely sure the fans will love what we have in store for 2017.

Alex Timmerson: Well, we're all pumped to hear what's ahead of us for Imagine Dragons. Unfortunately, that's all the time we have, but a big big thank you to all four of you guys! Amazing show and good luck with the upcoming album!
