Recently, we have been focusing on teenagers in North West Indiana and what they are proud of. Most teenagers, however, all had identical stories to tell. One male student claimed to be "gang" and "about that life" saying he would "put in work for his people". Our interviewers were shocked by what these teenagers in NWI, especially in Portage IN, had to say. Over the course of three weeks, our team found out some ludacris information. Many of these so called "trap kings & queens" are still in high school and show the intelligence of a child attending elementary school. Over 97 of caucasian teens claimed they were "from the hood" when in fact they come from downtown portage. Several students also claimed they came from no other than Chicago and gary when, in fact, they were from East Chicago and Miller. Apparently if selling a dime bag of reggie and buying an eighth of oregano for $100 is considered "ganagster" than look no further than Portage, IN. "We pull up like the ice cream truck in this ****h!" With that being said, please keep these little thugs in your prayers as they struggle through the reality of an education.
