37 year old Rebecca Gowland from Consett has been arrested for eating so much food she has caused a new famine in Ethiopia.
local residents said "We noticed that food supplies were going short in the Consett area but we thought it was due to Brexit".
Food experts have said they can not comprehend how one person can eat so much food and then still complain about being hungry.
Rebecca's husband local celebrity, master engineer and all round nice guy was un available for comment but his spokesperson read out his statement "who do you think pays for all this food? I work 25 hours a day 8 days a week to keep her feeling satisfied. All I want is some privacy at this time"
