Tucson-based artist Eric Cox has long been known for both his art and his flair for the unusual.
Lately, however, his practice has taken a turn for what some call indulgent, others label self-aggrandizing, and still others refer to as..."artson." Cox has recently begun burning his own art, much of which he "liberated" from his storage unit.
So we asked Cox: why burn your own art? Why not donate the works to charity or give them to deserving art aficionados?
His response? "Fuck all y'all."
