In what are some people calling a suprising move, Joel Berry has decided to forego his senior season in Chapel Hill and declare for the NBA Draft. Joel Berry was vital floor leader in leading UNC to back to back Final Fours and a National Championship this past season. Those close to the family expressed how excited he was for his next challenge. " He feels he has accomplished what he set out to do at UNC. He is grateful for all the love and support from the Fans and Roy,including the staff. He is ready to begin the next challenge in playing among the best of the best" Berry's uncle explained. There has been no word yet on who Berry will sign with but we were told he does plan on signing with an agent in the coming weeks. What seemed a promising roster for UNC next year now has huge question marks. Stay tuned for more updates and breaking news.
