RCCL has announced late this afternoon that the company will be going out of business as of the end of the year. One senior management member, Juan Lampoon, stated, "It's time to put the sails down, we are finished in the cruise industry. The complaints of our customers were overwhelming, especially in a case of one customer which will be remain anonymous. He was complaining about not having ice tea readily available 24/7 on our flagship "Harmony of the Seas." What you think we are, a service related industry? We are in the business of selling an experience, selling memories, mainly actually up selling those memories. For example, wouldn't the average cruise customer would love to take home one of our tumblers that could be fill with memories and ice tea at any time, at any cost. I suggested that to that guest, he could have order his tea by using room service, but of course, there was a price you have to pay for it. So we here at RCCL bid farewell!
