Ballyroan woman (22) is due to appear before Portlaoise District Court next week following the robbery of a mans underpants in Lidl carpark Portlaoise. Gardai chased the young woman as she sped off out the Dublin road in her white Hyundai. They eventually caught her at Whelan's Pub, The Heath. It is believed Gardai searched her car where they discovered what she claims to be an underpants hamper in the boot of her car. When questioned on this by Gardai she stated that she was collecting underpants as her underpants hamper was almost full. The owner of the stolen underpants cannot be named for legal reasons as he is underage.
